NEXSYS® Component Technology – Passive Components

Terminal Block (4 Pin)

Terminal Block

Summary Description

The NEXSYS Terminal Block (TB4) is a Series A (4 pin) device that can increase wiring efficiency by eliminating the need for external splices and terminal junction components. The Terminal Block is not available as a Thru-hole device.

The Terminal Block (TB4) is rated at 5.0 A (max.) or 1.0 A (max.) when combined with an ARINC 429 Signal Converter, and provides an ability to bus a single input to three outputs.

Summary Description

Twenty-two (22) pin NEXSYS® Multinode Terminal Block Modules for power distribution and other solderless termination applications are available in one (1) to six (6) node segments, rated at 7.5 A (max.). Splice together as few as 3 wires or up to 22 wires for higher density connections. The Terminal Block Modules are designed, tested and qualified to MIL-PRF-22885/116, as well as compatible with M81714 Tracks (Type 1). An In-Line Boot (P/N: 22-004) is provided with each module, and additional Installation and Mounting Options are also available, see Accessories & Installation Tools.

The Terminal Block Modules can be specified with the Connector Plug (P/N: 18-440) included or separately for advance wire harness manufacturing. The removable Connector Plug (P/N: 18-440) also allows for a simple pin ring-out process and wire harness testing. Test Adapter (P/N: 18-288) is available for pin termination, and harness testing. The solderless termination interface uses MIL-C-39029/22-192 (AAI P/N: 18-219) sockets crimped onto 20, 22, or 24 gauge wire.

NEXSYS Multinode Terminal Block Modules share the same mounting options as the standard NEXSYS Module.
